Summer camp runs Monday through Thursday 8:00-4:30 and Fridays 8:00-12:00. The full day rate which applies M-TH is $60/day. The half day rate of $40 applies only to Fridays. We do not offer a half day program M-TH.
WHAT ACTIVITIES WILL THE KIDS PARTICIPATE IN?
We spend a chunk of our school year preparing for summer camp. Each week of camp has its own theme. From there, we plan crafts, activities, experiments and games around those themes. In addition to our planned activities, the children get to visit the farm twice during the day (an hour each visit & the Preschoolers have one extended barn session in the morning at the farm). Each barn session starts with a short lesson, group discussion, review of barn rules, interaction with animals and barn cleaning lessons. Children get to learn about and care for a variety of farm animals during their time with us. Finally, we bring in vendors weekly based on the week's theme.
We take children ages 3-11 for summer camp. We group children by age in each of our four classrooms. We only have 9 preschoolers per day in our upstairs room. The remaining classroom are filled with school age children. Preschoolers must be potty trained.
You only have to register for 5 days total for the duration of camp! Though, we'd love to have you longer than that. You can pick and choose any five days of the summer that you would like to register for - the days do not need to be consecutive.
There is a $50 non-refundable deposit due upon registration in order to hold your child's spot for the time you register for (not applied towards tuition). If you have two children, the deposit is $80, three children it's $100.
Sibling Discount: Register each child for 15 days total to receive a 20% discount on each sibling’s weekly rate.
You have until June 7th to make any schedule changes.
We will need the Camp Form, Deposit, Enrollment Contract, Registration Packet and Health assessment to register your child. If your child has a doctor's appointment prior to camp, please just let us know - we'll have your doctor complete the form at that time.
CAMP DURING A PANDEMIC
We ran a very successful summer camp during summer of 2020 as we rolled through the middle of a pandemic. We will continue to follow state guidelines and recommendations of the Office of Early Childhood to be sure we are within legal regulation. We have created a very strict sick child/sick teacher policy to be sure that those who are sick, remain home. At this time, we expect that most regulations will not change by June - I would have the expectation that your child will still be wearing a mask, with the exception of meal times and outdoor time. Any case of COVID is taken case-by-case. Decisions on closing are coordinated with the Department of Public Health. Please thoroughly read through our Parent Handbook and Covid Policies to be sure you understand what you are financially responsible for during a time of closure. We will do everything we can to provide a safe environment for your child - as a small business it is our goal to be OPEN!
